Demi Lovato Talks About Filming "Bounce"
OCT
31TH
Earlier this month, the
Jonas Brothers
and Demi Lovato
took some time out of their busy "Camp Rock 2" shooting schedule
to film their funny music video for the parody rap song
"Bounce". The
video features the
guys in various getups and wigs, rapping and singing with Lovato.
When MTV News caught up with her on the set of the video for her
single "Remember December," she explained that the idea was all
Nick's. "I think a lot of you guys out there heard about the
music video out there, 'Bounce,' " she shared about her favorite
"Camp Rock 2" moment. "One day Nick [Jonas] came up to me on set
like, 'Yo, I got this new song. I have a beat to it and it's
really sick.' "
She was initially apprehensive about the song, not realizing it
was meant to be funny and that Nick didn't intend for it to be
serious. "I was like, 'Oh, OK, good — 'cause I was about to say
something,' " she joked.
Demi and all three Jonas Brothers then decided to shoot a video
for the song. "We ended up shooting the music video one day
before we all went to work," she said. "It was just so much fun.
It was incredible."
However, this might not be the last you see of "Bounce" — Demi
teases there may be more installments in the future. "I had so
much fun doing that," she said. "Maybe you should watch out for
the sequel."

Joe Jonas Wardrobe Malfunction
OCT
31TH
A
Jonas Brothers concert in Connecticut almost turned X-rated for
young fans after hearthrob Joe Jonas suffered a wardrobe
malfunction onstage.
The 20 year old was left red-faced when a button holding his
pants together popped out midway through the band's performance
at the Mohegan Sun Casino on 9 October (09).
Things went from bad to worse when his fly unravelled, forcing
him to hold his trousers up with one hand and croon into his mic
with the other.
A
stagehand eventually spared his blushes by handing him a clip to
keep his costume intact.
A source tells Star
magazine, "He scurried over to the side of the stage and
someone handed him a paperclip. He looped in through the
buttonhole and stitched up the fly onstage while (bandmates and
brothers) Nick and Kevin distracted the crowd."

"Jonas Brothers Are Really Sweet"
OCT
16TH
Knowing Jonas Brothers since the filming of "Camp Rock", Anna
Maria Perez de Tagle says the boys haven't changed much and are
"still the sweet gentleman that pull out your chair and push it
back in." Speaking to OK! Magazine about the threesome, the
18-year-old actress reveals, "It's easy to talk to them. They're
normal guys, and that's what I love."
"They haven't changed at all. We've all just grown; we've all
just aged," she continues, before then adding that she would
love to come to Kevin Jonas' wedding to fiancee Danielle
Deleasa should she be invited. "I honestly don't know
because both Danielle and Kevin are amazing people, and just to
see them as a couple is incredible," Anna says when asked about
what gift she would give the pair. "I don't know what I'd give
them because I have everything already."
Anna, who also stars together with Kevin and his famous brothers
Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas in "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", goes
on gushing about what life lessons she learns from the trio.
"Just by watching them onstage, I got to see how their stage
presence translates onscreen," she claims. "They're amazing
guys, so any chance I get to talk to them, I do."
Anna Maria Perez de Tagle is well known for her role as Ashley
Dewitt in "Hannah Montana". In the upcoming "Camp Rock 2: The
Final
Jam", which is slated for 2010 release, she will reprise
her role as Ella Pador.

Kevin Jonas Bachelor Party Plans
OCT
16TH
Kevin, 21, is gearing up for his
marriage with fiancee Danielle Deleasa and his younger siblings
Joe and Nick are planning "something crazy" for the stag do,
despite protestations from the groom-to-be.
"Kevin keeps trying to plan his own bachelor party, and
that's not going to happen," 19-year-old Joe told CTV's etalk,
adding: "So we are going to figure out the right place and have
fun and it's going to be a good time."
No further details of the planned shenanigans were
disclosed, but it appears clubs of a sort will be a no go.
Joe explained: "(Kevin) wants to do golfing but that just
seems a little too normal. We have to do something outrageous
and fun. Something crazy."

The Jonas Brothers Kick for a Change
OCT

The singing siblings were cheered on by over 3,500 fans as
they kicked runs, rounded bases and showed off their athletic
prowess to raise money for their Change for the Children
Foundation -- which encourages young people to get involved with
their communities -- and the HopeLine program, which helps
prevent domestic violence.
The event took place at Dodd
Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut.

Justin Timberlake's Favorite Jonas Brother
OCT

And there were even some boy-band questions on the table.
Asked who his favorite Jonas Brother is, either because he
wanted to be diplomatic or because he really didn't know, Justin
quipped, "It's a toss-up between Sleepy Jonas and Bashful Jonas;
although Dopey Jonas is creeping his way up."

Joe won't be on Valentine's Day
OCT
2ND
Contrary to earlier reports, Joe Jonas will not take a part
in forthcoming romantic
comedy "Valentine's Day". Setting the rumor straight was
the middle of the Jonas Brothers himself. "I actually went for
the audition and it was looking really good, but scheduling just
wasn't working out," he opened up to Just Jared.
"They were filming in the summer and we Jonas
Brothers were touring during the summer," the 20-year-old
continued explaining. "We figured it out on our part but it was
just difficult because they're working with so many superstars,
that scheduling is really hard to adjust than a normal film like
if it was just me and a few other people."
Although he acknowledged there is scheduling conflict, Joe
didn't rule out possibility of him making a cameo completely.
"It's Anne Hathaway and all these other big stars that star in
that movie and they have to shift schedules around," he said. "I
think we're going to try and do something for that, but it all
depends on schedules."
Back in mid-August, Joe has been reported close to joining the
star-studded cast of the romantic drama in which his former
girlfriend Taylor Swift has been set to star. At the time, it
wasn't clear what part he will tackle, but E! Online claimed the
singer won't be playing himself.
Chronicling five slightly interconnecting stories occurring
during one Valentine's Day in Los Angeles, "Valentine's Day"
looks like another intertwining romantic comedy "Love Actually".
The initial screenplay was written by Katherine Fugate with a
rewrite by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein. This movie is
directed by "The Princess Diaries" and "Georgia Rule" helmer
Garry Marshall.
Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, Topher Grace, Jessica Alba,
Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Taylor Lautner and Emma Roberts
are among the cast members. New Line Cinema will release the
movie in theaters across the U.S. on February 12, 2010.

What Nick Jonas Got For His 17th Birthday!
SEPT
19TH
For Nick Jonas, what a difference a day makes.
"It's exciting," Jonas told PEOPLE on the set of Camp
Rock 2 The Final Jam about turning 17 on Wednesday. "I
feel 24 hours different than when I was 16."
Busy working on The Disney Channel movie sequel, the singer did
not have time for an extravagant party, but says that's the way
he likes it.
"I tend to keep things low key for my birthdays in general," he
said. "It's so much attention that it can be a bit overwhelming.
But it's nice when people do things to celebrate. I have tonight
off and I think we have something planned. We'll see how it
roles out."
With his entire family on set, including his youngest brother
Frankie, the cast and crew sang "Happy Birthday" to him and
presented a light blue vanilla cake with cream filling.
And what did the Jonas brother get for his birthday? A piano.
"It's actually the piano I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on. It's
definitely got a special meaning for me," he said. "I originally
wanted to get a plaque just to put on the piano when I got there
saying that I wrote the song on, but the family just decided to
get it for me."
The piano was originally located at a hotel in Halliburton,
Ontario, where the
Jonas
Brothers filmed the first
Camp Rock. It was
there where Jonas wrote the song about his diagnosis with
diabetes. "I think I'm going to put it in our office where our
management team works. So that will be nice. It's a nice piece
of memorabilia with lots of meaning."
Besides a piano, the film's production team presented him with a
Kettler ping-pong table.
"Nick is a sports fanatic and what he loves to do on tour
besides Wiffle Ball, and softball is ping-pong," said
Camp Rock's producer Alan Sacks. "He's a ping-pong
whiz!"
Minutes after presenting him with the ping-pong table, Nick was
busy paddling away.

JB Will Not Tour With Miley
SEPT
19TH
Miley Cyrus has denied The Jonas
Brothers are to join her on tour.
The singer-and-actress made a guest appearance at the
trio's Dallas show in June but insists they will only be part of
her 'Wonder World Tour' as audience members.
She told MTV News: "I went and saw the Jonas' show and it
was cool being able to go to a Jonas Brothers concert. It was
super fun.
"We don't have time for any guest appearances or anything.
I think a lot of my friends will be able to come and visit. You
know, the problem is a lot of my buddies are busy working too,
but I hope they all can at least catch a show. That'd be really
great. It was cool to be able to see the Jonas Brothers' show
and I hope they'll be able to come here."

Kevin Jonas Sneaks Into Toronto Film Festival
SEPT
19TH
It's not all work and no play for Kevin Jonas
as he and his famous brothers shoot the sequel to Camp
Rock up in Canada.
The oldest JoBro was able to
slip away from the set for a bit to hit the Toronto Film
Festival.
Keep reading to find out where he went and what he did…
Kevin was a surprise guest at a special screening of
Youth in Revolt, a comedy starring Michael
Cera, Zach Galifianakis, Ray
Liotta and newcomer Paula Doubleday,
at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre.
"Kevin came in a side door to let the stars of the movie
be in the spotlight," reports a fellow premiere-goer. "Backstage
before the movie started, he talked with the cast and the
filmmakers."
Despite having woken up that day at 7 a.m. for a full day
of shooting, Jonas showed no signs of sleepiness. He was dressed
in jeans, V-neck T-shirt and tuxedo jacket.
"He was chatting about his engagement, how he loves golf
and about how he has a house in L.A. but their home base will
always be Texas," the source said.
Meanwhile, the youngest brother of the musical trio,
Nick, celebrated his 17th birthday with a new
piano. People magazine reports the family
surprised him by buying the hotel piano that he used to write "A
Little Bit Longer." Camp Rock producers gave him
a ping-pong table.

Jonas Brothers On Tour with Miley?
SEPT
15TH
On Miley Cyrus’ Wonder World Tour the singer has props like
tractors, boats and motorcycles, but everyone wants to know:
Will the Jonas Brothers be joining the show?
“I don’t
know,” she told MTV News. “I went and saw the Jonas’ show and it
was cool being able to go to a Jonas Brothers’ concert. It was
super fun.” But she noted that if the boys do make an
appearance, it’ll be as audience members — her tour doesn’t
allow for special appearances like the one she made at their
show in June in Dallas.
“We don’t have time for any guest appearances or
anything,” she added. “I think a lot of my friends will be able
to come and visit. You know, the problem is a lot of my buddies
are busy working too, but I hope they all can at least catch a
show. That’d be really great. It was cool to be able to see the
[Jonas Brothers'] show and I hope they’ll be able to come here.”
And just in case her friends think they have seen it all
before, Cyrus promises that this tour will be a lot different
than her Best of Both Worlds trek and that her look — which
includes a costume change that has her donning a bejeweled
bodysuit — will be “pretty wild.” “It’s something that I
couldn’t do for a while,” she explained about the show, which
kicked off September 14 in Portland. “It’s definitely more
mature. It’s super fun. It’s kind of for everybody.”

Hey Everyone!
Life has been quite exciting
recently. As you are all well aware we are up in the
Toronto area now, and we can’t say enough about what a
beautiful city this is. In fact we played our largest
show this summer right here at Rogers Center!
The city has been packed for the festival this
week so it’s kinda cool for us to be star watching as we
go about our days. We’ve seen quite a few people that we
respect and admire in the entertainment industry and
some have had us even star struck!
I know we say it all the time but still, even
amongst all the excitement here in Toronto we just can’t
wait to get back on tour.
Everyday we get to discuss what city’s and dates
we’ll be playing.
What venues we’ll be revisiting and what country’s
will be our first.
We talk about how we are stoked to see cultures
from around the world, try new foods, and of course…
Meet the fans we have yet to meet!

Miguel Talks To JB
SEPT
8TH
Just to catch you up, Miguel Gandelman is one of the players in
the horn section. He's the Brazilian saxophonist of the group.
Abril.com: How is it to travel with the Jonas Brothers?
Miguel Gandelman: They’re very young. Around them it’s
always business, their father is their manager, but the boys are
still young. They feel the need to be with young people. They’re
always there with us, playing ping pong, playing baseball. And
they’re always together.
Have you ever worked with a phenomenon like them?
I had never worked with an artist that was a teenage
phenomenon. I played with Diana Ross, Sting, Michael Jackson,
people that weren’t this phenomenon where the person is bigger
than the music and the kids are screaming and go after you.
Is it always like that?
It’s a lot of screaming, and the funniest part is that
it’s unbelievable. I was on stage and there girls trying to grab
me, this girl came and untied my shoelaces. The other day one
girl got my glasses. It’s something unbelievable, a loud mess.
We went to Brazil and played for 60.000 people. For me, as a
Brazilian, it was unbelievable, everybody sang all the songs.
And how are they as musicians? Is Nick really the most
talented?
They’re all very talented. The oldest one [Kevin] plays
the guitar, the middle one [Joe] is a very good singer and Nick
is the maestro of the situation. They’re very professional.
Nick, I could say, is their musical director, but they’re all
very talented. Their father is a musician too, he was a pastor,
singer and pianist.
How long are still going to play with the Jonas Brothers?
We’ll stop in September, because they’ll make a movie. We
already have a proposition from Quincy Jones, who’s completing
50 years of career. We tour again with the Jonas Brothers in
November, and we’ll go to Europe until the end of December. In
2010 we’ll be with them again. And we just received a
proposition from Rod Stewart to record an album with him.

New House For the Jonas Brothers
SEPT
4TH
The Jonas Brothers have a new crib to
make music.
According the Dallas Morning
News, the boys bought a six-bedroom home in the
Dallas suburb of Westlake. Price tag: $2.8 million! City
documents show Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 closed on
the house June 12. Mom Denise acted as their power of
attorney. The home is located inside a gated community known
as "Vaquero." Neighbors include former Dallas Cowboys
quarterback Drew Bledsoe, major leaguer
Mark Teixeira and former British Open
champion Brian Watts. (A real estate agent
confirmed the sale, but the band's rep declined to comment.)
Nick was born in Dallas, but grew up in New
Jersey with his brothers. They currently reside in Los
Angeles. The Jonas Brothers' third album A Little
Bit Longer hits stores Aug. 12; they're currently
touring through September. The group is also slated to film
a sequel to Disney hit Camp Rock. The
original airing drew 8.9 million viewers for its June
premiere, making it Disney's second-most-watched TV movie of
all time.

Kevin's Best Man Turns Into Best Men
SEPT
4TH
Joe and Nick Jonas now know just who is going to be the best
man at Kevin's wedding to longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa.
And, no, he didn't decide to pick littlest brother Frankie.
"They both are [my best man]," Kevin said in a radio
interview with Canada's Hot 89.9FM Radio during a tour stop in
Ottawa. "[Deleasa] actually has two sisters, kind of the same
age as well. It works out really well because there are two
maids of honor and two best men."
Last month, Nick tried to play it cool when asked if Kevin
had picked which brother was going to be his best man. But he
did reveal that Kevin and Danielle were possibly planning a
winter wedding. "They have not set a date yet, but I think that
it'll be sometime around the end of the year, beginning of the
year — something like that," Nick said. "We've talked about it a
little bit [about who is going to be best man]. He's working it
all out, but we'll see what happens."
But Joe revealed in an earlier interview that he had his
hopes set on being Kevin's best man. "I want it. I'll be the
best best man ever," he said, also revealing the best man plan
for any future Jonas weddings. "Eventually if I get married,
[the best man is] gonna be Nick, and when it's Nick, [the best
man is] gonna be Frankie."

Jonas Brothers Sign & Give Guitar To Fan
SEPT
2ND
My daughter, Kiarra, made a sign saying ‘I gave up presents
for a year to sit here’ and Kevin noticed it at the Toronto
Soundcheck. They invited her up to the stage to play musical
chairs and then serenade her and four other girls. At the end of
the song, Nick came out with a gift for her. I figured it would
be a t-shirt or something simple. But no, it was his Gibson,
replica of the 1959 Melody Maker. All the boys signed it and
gave it to her. They gifted my daughter with the most exciting
day of her life. They are the sweetest and will always hold a
very special place in my heart.

JB Delivers Summer Treat
SEPT
2ND
Every audience wants to believe it’s unique and the
Jonas Brothers, like most touring acts, did their darnedest
to make last night’s Rogers Centre crowd feel special.
They delivered the typical “we love coming here”
shtick and lauded the “familiar and new faces” greeting them
since they were in town for the MuchMusic Video Awards in
June. But there was an authentic air of novelty when Kevin
Jonas declared “this is the biggest crowd we have performed
for on this tour,” which concludes in Ottawa today.
It’s true: Toronto loves them some Jo Bros at least
56,000 strong. And for the naysayers been chattering about
the group’s decline in popularity – their concert film only
grossed a third of Miley Cyrus’s, and the new TV show got
off to slow start – that’s the second-most concert tickets
sold here this year. That’s just behind U2 (estimated
58,000-60,000 for each of their two Sept. dates) and ahead
of Coldplay (45,000).
Of course many of those seats belonged to chaperones
of the 7-to-12-year-old girls who comprised the bulk of
attendees.
However, the New Jersey trio of Nick, 16; Joe, 20 and
Kevin, 21, dressed in shades of black and grey, put on a
show with much more musical depth and maturity that fan base
would augur.
There were a few neat party tricks – massive rotating
in-the-round stage with a trampoline in the middle and
runaways out into floor seats, a white piano that rose out
of the floor, a smaller hydraulics-pumped stage – but no
fancy choreography, multiple costume changes or fireworks.
Heralded by a tape of Queen’s “We Will Rock You,” the
fellas rose up through the middle of the stage and launched
the tasteful, music-focused 100-minute set with “Paranoid”
from current disc Lines, Vines & Trying Times, followed by
“That’s the Way We Roll” and “Poison Ivy.”
Not that you could actually hear the band, given the
feverish fans who were either screaming or singing as loud
as they could.
Those rock-star parents who shelled out $15.50-$95.50
for an end-of-summer treat should also have been entertained
by the purity ring-wearing sibs.
For one thing, the ensemble’s live sound is more rock
‘n’ roll than kiddie pop, plumped by a driving 10-piece
band, including four horns and two violinists. Then, playing
solo piano on “Black Keys,” Nick spun a moving tale about
being diagnosed as diabetic four years ago and asking the
doctor “Am I going to die?” The upshot of this was not to be
defeated by challenges, which may come in handy as a
teaching tool. And how about that cover of Neil Diamond’s
“Sweet Caroline?”
Unexpected treats included the appearance by singer
Demi Lovato for “This Is Me,” and a bouncing version of the
Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.” Nick, the crowd
favourite, also played drums and guitar. Kevin concentrated
on guitar and did most of the speaking, while somersaulting,
microphone-jumping Joe was the most exuberant.

Ottawa Concert Review

The Jonas Brothers will have to be declared a threat to
healthy hearing if this fan screaming thing keeps up.
More than 17,000 fans, mostly female teens and their mothers and
BFFs, were at their decibel-breaking peak last night as the
Jonas Brothers put on one of the most theatrical concerts to
ever hit Scotiabank Place.
It was a good thing that 21-year-old Kevin, 20-year-old
Joe and 16-year-old Nick came with plenty of amplification (and
a 10-piece band) because they needed every watt just to be heard
over the incredibly loud cheers of fans.
Note to self, bring earplugs and Aspirin next time teen
idols come to town.
In case you haven’t heard about these young phenoms, the
Jonases are more than fresh-faced popstars who starred in the
movie Camp Rock and a 3-D concert film as well as their own
television series for Disney called JONAS.
UNRELENTING SHOWMEN
They are an entertainment machine. From the opening chords
of Queen’s We Will Rock You that opened their show, the three
brothers proved to be unrelenting showmen.
Perched on a revolving turntable at centre ice with two
smaller stages at either end, they opened with Paranoid off
their new album Line, Vines and Trying Times with Nick and Kevin
playing guitars while Joe rallied the crowd to cheer. Nick also
sang That’s Just the Way We Roll and Poison Ivy before giving
the mic to Joe for Hold On and Play My Music.
“This is our last stop on the tour,” Kevin explained while
Nick disappeared, only to re-emerge at centre stage at a white
grand piano playing their romantic Fly With Me accompanied by
two violinists, and Little Bit Longer all by himself, before
telling the touching story of how he discovered he had diabetes
four years ago with almost tragic sincerity.
Joe lightened the mood singing Much Better and Year 3000
and Tonight while Kevin rocked his guitar like Peter Townshend
and their 10-piece band took turns jumping on a trampoline where
the piano used to be.
That constantly revolving stage was a thing of beauty,
giving the band and concert a sense of energy, especially when
lit.
And even though Nick seemed to be the shyest of the three,
he was by far the strongest and most natural musician, even
playing the drums during Live To Party.
Joe was the most colourful, playing the host,
complimenting the girls on their signs and running back and
forth across the constantly revolving stage.
“I feel like going real crazy tonight,” Joe added.
Of course, going crazy meant singing another song — in
this case, Gotta Find You featuring violins while their
hydraulic stage rose high into the air.
Those boys don’t miss a trick. They included a tune for
the parents, with Joe singing a cover of Neil Diamond’s Sweet
Caroline and later, thanked their father for being such a good
role model.
That must have sounded sweet to all the parents in the
crowd.
Jordin Sparks joined them to sing Battlefield after which
Kevin performed his own version of singing in the rain to
virtual showers on Lovebug.
Occasionally, they tried to make the show look more
spontaneous, but in reality, it was a tightly choreographed
concert with no element left to chance. I haven’t seen this much
theatrical technology since Pink Floyd. But don’t forget,
they’ve got the Disney corporation behind them, and with that
kind of showbusiness firepower behind them, how can The Jonas
Brothers lose?
Earlier last night, Sparks heated things up for the Jonas
siblings.
The sixth season American Idol winner got glowsticks
waving with her single SOS and her Grammy-nominated hit No Air

The Jonas Bros won't be attending the MTV VMAs this year --
but that's not because Russell Brand is hosting again.
The guys were slammed by the British comic for wearing purity
rings and remaining virgins in 2008, but they don't hold it
against him. Nick says he wouldn't mind -- too much -- if
Brand digs on him and his brothers again.
"As far as his comments were concerned, what we said from
the beginning was that he seemed to run out of material -- but
if we're the butt of his jokes, it's kind of a compliment in a
bizarre way," he tells the BBC.
Hosting the show, which airs Sept. 13, is "great for him,"
Nick adds. "He has form and ultimately he does a great job.
"We hope he has a good time this year," Nick goes on.
Pink, Taylor Swift and Green Day are
expected to perform.

Jonas Brothers Rock Toronto!!!
AUG
31ST
Jonas Brothers pulled into Rogers Centre last night,
delighting 55,000 shrieking, screaming fans as the teen pop
phenoms brought a huge production with them.
And despite poor box office earlier this year for their
3-D concert film, the three wholesome-looking, well-scrubbed
siblings -- singer-guitarist-pianist-drummer Nick, 16, singer
Joe, 19, and singer-guitarist-pianist Kevin, 21 -- still managed
to sell out the massive stadium.
It appears the Disney Channel juggernaut act, who appeared
earlier in the day at MuchMusic drawing hordes of yet more fans,
still have some life left in them after all.
Known as much for their music and TV and film projects as
their love lives -- Nick has previously been involved with Miley
Cyrus, Joe dated both Taylor Swift and Camille Belle and Kevin
is engaged to his longtime sweetheart -- the Jonas Brothers
first came to mainstream attention as guests on Cyrus' Disney
Channel show, Hannah Montana, before hitting it big in last
year's Disney movie, Camp Rock. (They said last night that they
would begin filming the sequel in about a week.)
Since then they have sold millions of records and broken
as many hearts along the way. (They all wear purity rings
promising to abstain from premarital sex.)
The Queen anthem We Will Rock You heralded the trio's
arrival from beneath their huge in-the-round, rotating stage
which boasted a UFO-like lighting rig and a circular video
screen as they opened the night with Paranoid, the catchy first
single from their most recent album, Lines, Vines and Trying
Times.
"Toronto! Let's get this party started right," said Joe
before launching into the second song of the night, That's Just
the Way We Roll.
But it was the third song of the night, Poison Ivy, that
really ramped up the action as the band of brothers was joined
by a four-man horn section while steam blasted all around them.
Mindless teenage pop songs with titles like Hold On, Play
My Music, Year 3000, Live to Party, BB Good, World War III,
Lovebug, S.O.S. and Burnin' Up (with bodyguard Big Rob making an
appearance), encouraged massive singalongs and the slightest
movement by one of the brothers -- like when Kevin simply spun
around with his guitar flying behind him -- prompted major
reactions.
"It's good to be back in Toronto," said Joe. "We love it
here. We started our last tour here in Toronto. This is the
biggest crowd we have performed for so far on this tour."
In a more serious moment, Nick played piano on Fly With Me
and A Little Bit Longer, the latter during which he discussed
his (Type 4) Diabetes diagnosis four years ago and thanked fans
for their support.
"I made a commitment that it would not slow me down," said
Nick. "And this past year alone, I met the president of the
United States, we've had a second Rolling Stone cover and thanks
to all of you, our second No. 1 album. And tonight I'm playing
in a place I drove by every day to the set of Camp Rock, and
every day, my brothers and I would say, we're going to play
there one day."
But it was really the upbeat songs and goofy stunts, like
having a trampoline in the middle of the stage on which all
three brothers performed flips -- although Joe had a rough
landing: "My butt's a big sore right now. I usually land that,"
he commented later -- that made for some of the evening's best
moments.
Joe and Kevin also sprayed water on their fans from a
moving crane during Live to Party while Nick handled drums and
then the brothers got rained on themselves during Lovebug.
The trio even threw in a decent cover of the Black Eyed
Peas' I Got a Feeling leading into their own Tonight and melted
more hearts during the ballads I Need to Find You -- which saw
their stage lift them up above their band -- Turn Right and When
You Look Me In the Eyes.
Their Camp Rock collaborator Demi Lovato also showed up
mid-show to sing This Is Me, her duet with Joe, while opener
Jordin Sparks appeared towards the end to sing her latest hit,
Battlefield.
Now if the Jonas Brothers could just live down their awful
cover of Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline.

Jordin Sparks Would Love To Sing At Kevin Jonas's Wedding
AUG
28TH
Although Jordin Sparks, who recently became one of the
opening acts on Britney Spears’ Circus tour, has yet to get her
invite in the mail to Kevin Jonas’ possible winter wedding to
Danielle Deleasa, she’s already planning what she might sing if
Kevin decided to hire her as the wedding singer.
“Maybe
I’ll be their wedding singer — who knows? That would be crazy,”
Sparks, who toured with the Jonas Brothers over the summer, told
MTV News. “So, maybe I’ll get invited, and if I don’t, it’s OK.”
But Sparks does have a song in mind for the wedding — a
girl has to be prepared for all scenarios! “I’d sing ‘Lovebug’ …
I’m just kidding,” she joked. “Actually, my friend Gina from
‘Idol’ got married, and she asked me to sing at her wedding, and
she had me sing ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand,’ but the one from
‘Across the Universe.’ It’s a lot slower and a lot more
different, so I might sing that.”
Sparks also revealed that Deleasa is starting to get used
to her fiancé’s hectic schedule. She’s already hit the road with
Nick, Joe and Kevin, and Sparks couldn’t be happier for the
couple. “I know that she comes in and she’ll be on the tour for
a little while, and you can just really tell that they’re in
love. And they’re so cute, so all the congratulations. I love
you guys. You’re amazing.”

Winter Wedding?
AUG
25TH
Kevin Jonas is likely to have a winter wedding to fiancee
Danielle Deleasa, according to his younger brother and bandmate,
Nick Jonas.
“They have not set a date yet, but I think
that it’ll be sometime around the end of the year, beginning of
the year — something like that,” Nick, 16, told ABC News radio
earlier this week.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kevin, 21,
the oldest member of the Jonas Brothers, became engaged to
Danielle, 22, in July.
On Monday, Nick revealed he and brother Joe, 20, don’t
know which of them will get to serve as Kevin’s best man.
“We’ve talked about it a little bit,” Nick said. “He’s
working it all out, but we’ll see what happens.”
Nick said whichever way Kevin goes, he’s just happy to see
his brother walk down the aisle with the woman he loves.
“I’m happy for them and we love her, and we’re happy to
have her as part of the family,” Nick said.
Kevin previously revealed that Danielle was thrilled at
the prospect of becoming a Jonas.
“She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a
row,” Kevin told People in July of Danielle’s proposal reaction.
And Kevin’s proud parents also previously shared their joy
over the engagement.
“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to
share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her
hand in marriage,” Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. said in a
statement on the JoBros’ Facebook page in July. “Her answer was
yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our
family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is
very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a
wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s
celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you
for all of your support.”
The couple met in May 2007, while vacationing with their
families in the Bahamas.

Nick Jonas Dreams of Being President
AUG
25TH
Teen pop star Nick Jonas, taking a break from touring with
his brothers to raise awareness of juvenile diabetes, said he
dreams about being U.S. president and may study political
science in college.
The
16-year-old singer, songwriter and member of pop trio the Jonas
Bros, spoke on Monday to a sold-out audience at the National
Press Club, a venue often reserved for presidents, kings and
chief executives but for Jonas had many seats occupied by
teenage and pre-teen girls.
Jonas talked about raising awareness and funding for
juvenile diabetes, a disease he was diagnosed with in 2005.
Asked about recent trips to Washington, the youngest of
the Jonas Bros told the crowd "I've always had this dream of
becoming president one day." He said it was "very cool" and
"such an honor" to visit the White House earlier this year.
The brothers made a surprise visit to President Barack
Obama's daughters in January, and Nick Jonas met Obama in June
as part of his diabetes efforts.
In an interview with Reuters, Jonas said his talk of
wanting to be president was not entirely a tease. "As much as I
joke about it and kind of say it to get a laugh, it is somewhat
serious. I don't know if it will happen," he said.
If he goes to college, "I'd probably study English and
then political science because I'm interested in it," he said.
At the moment, he's touring with his band and will start
shooting for TV show "Camp Rock 2" with his brothers in
September.
Jonas told the press club audience he has learned to
manage his diabetes while keeping a busy touring schedule but
had adjusted his diet to help regulate blood sugar.
A song he wrote about diabetes includes a line saying "You
don't know what you got 'til it's gone," and an audience member
asked Jonas what he was referring to.
"Probably chocolate cake," he joked.
Jonas said he still eats his favorite foods but closely
monitors his diet. There have been "one or two moments" during
concerts when he asked his brothers to talk a bit longer on
stage while he stepped away to check his sugar levels. He wears
a diabetic insulin pump on his lower back while performs.
In response to questions, Jonas said he does not currently
have a girlfriend and would consider dating a fan.
"I didn't know I was going to get in a suit today and have
to talk about that kind of stuff," he said with a smile.

Jonas Brothers Rock Rupp Arena
AUG
25TH
"Give the people what they want" is a time-honored
show-business slogan, and it certainly held true as the Jonas
Brothers played to 18,500 screaming, screeching, squealing fans
in Rupp Arena on Sunday night.
The teen heartthrobs who have benefited tremendously from
the patronage of Disney brought a tightly scripted production
worthy of the Magic Kingdom to town with smoke, mirrors, lifts,
lasers and — on the lower-tech end — a trampoline.
It is a testament to the quickly evolving nature of teen
pop culture that the Jonas Brothers were in Lexington less than
two years ago as the fledgling openers for then-pop princess
Miley Cyrus, who was touring as herself and her Disney Channel
alter ego, Hannah Montana. Now they are on their second
headlining tour, with an ambitious setup highlighted by a stage
that reportedly ran 144 feet across the Rupp Arena floor.
It's a demanding playground that would take some youthful
stamina to cover. That's something the JoBros have. They also
have instrumental and songwriting chops, and they brought along
a crack 10-piece band to help them play. Highlights of the
evening were when that band spread the stage, pumping out hits
Play My Music and Much Better and a rollicking mom-and-dad
sing-along of Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline. Other highlights
included Nick Jonas playing solo piano on Black Keys and talking
about his battle with Type A diabetes.
It was a thoroughly professional, excruciatingly
choreographed show for a band that was just establishing itself
a few years ago.
Another testament to how much things have changed is that
the first opening act, Honor Society, is the first group signed
to the Jonas Brothers' own label. Honor Society is a quartet of
skilled musicians who made the most of their opportunity on the
huge stage, attacking it with boundless energy. All they need is
a few strong songs and a sustained popular taste and they could
headline in a few years.
South Korean imports The Wonder Girls could have
accomplished a lot more by singing another song instead of
teaching the audience the dance to their first single, Nobody
But You.
The undisputed champion of the under card, though, was
Jordin Sparks, the former American Idol champ, who was much more
impressive at Rupp than she ever was on the show. She worked all
ends of the Jonas' long stage, drawing the crowd into sublime
sing-alongs of Tattoo and Air. Sparks was backed by a fun, edgy
band that gave her a lot to work with.
Interestingly, she saved her big, current hit,
Battlefield, for the Jonas' set in a clever pairing with Jonas'
song about tempestuous love, World War III. That pairing gave
the end of the show another shot of energy.
What JoBros' set lacked was much room for spontaneity.
They have played essentially the same set all summer. And the
glossy production really didn't seem to allow for much deviation
from the script.
The band's core audience certainly doesn't seem to care.
The JoBros came, they rocked, and they gave the fans memories
that will last for decades. But in those ensuing decades, many
of those fans will come to appreciate less-scripted shows that
give you not only what you want, but what you didn't know you
wanted.

Nick Jonas Visits Washington DC Again!
AUG
25TH
Team Jonas doesn't often get to post an article from
U.S. News and World Report...;)
While Joe was off in Texas judging American Idol auditions, Nick
headed back to DC on Monday.
"Pop superstar Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers hinted that he
wouldn't mind spending a lot more time in Washington: "I always
had this dream that I would become president one day," he said
to a chorus of giggles coming from the dozens of tween girls who
came to see him speak at the National Press Club today, "2040 to
be exact." And who could blame him? The 16-year-old has gotten a
pretty fabulous tour of Washington thus far. First, over
inauguration, the Jonas Brothers were invited to play a private
acoustic set at the White House for Sasha and Malia Obama and
friends. Then, Nick Jonas was invited in June to testify before
Congress on type 1 diabetes alongside actress Mary Tyler Moore,
a longtime advocate for people with juvenile diabetes. "I was a
little nervous when I spoke," he admitted. "But it was great to
see that it went over well." He returned today as one of the
youngest speakers ever to talk from the Press Club podium and
again described what it's like to live with type 1 diabetes to
the mostly young crowd. While diabetes was the main topic, he
revealed other things, too, which got some shrieks of glee from
the packed audience: He's single, he would date a fan, and while
meeting President Obama was "an honor," he'd rather have dinner
with fellow musician Elvis Costello."

Nick Jonas Diabetes Conference
AUG
24TH
Nick Jonas today made a passionate plea
to an audience of journalists at the National Press Club asking
them to raise more awareness about type 1 diabetes to motivate
young people like him and their families to properly manage
their condition. Nick, 16, is one of the youngest guests ever
invited to speak at the Club. He talked about his own journey
with diabetes, the charitable efforts of the Jonas Brothers’
Change for the Children Foundation and why he embraces the role
of diabetes ambassador.
Nick recounted that until he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
almost four years ago, he didn’t know anything about, or anybody
else with, the condition. That has all since changed. With the
love and support of his family, he has learned how to live with
and manage his condition. He wrote the song, “A Little Bit
Longer,” to share that experience and inspire others. In 2007
Nick went public with his diabetes. The impact of that
announcement and his subsequent work with the Bayer Diabetes
Care NicksSimpleWins.com campaign has had far reaching global
impact, helping to raise awareness of the disease. Much more
needs to be done, he said, and he asked reporters to help.
“So many fans with diabetes from all
over the world share their stories and thank me for being an
inspiration to them,” said Nick. “It’s important for them to
know that they motivate and inspire me as well. I’m lucky to
have a great support system in my family as well as the tools I
need to manage my diabetes properly. By speaking publicly about
my experience I hope to increase diabetes awareness, encourage
diabetes education and help fundraising for research and other
programs for kids with diabetes. The more you report about
diabetes, the more people will know,” he told members of the
press.
Nick’s passion for helping other
young people with diabetes by sharing his experience is just one
of the ways he “gives back” to fans. He and his brothers, Kevin
and Joe, started the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children
Foundation through which they donate funds to several causes
including pediatric diabetes research, education and treatment.
“When Nick talks about diabetes,
people listen. And until there is a cure, the greatest weapon
against diabetes is increased awareness and knowing how to
manage it,” said Nancy Katz, head of North America for Bayer
Diabetes Care. “That includes working with a health care
professional for guidance on regular monitoring of blood sugar
and A1C levels, proper diet and exercise and having a positive
attitude to achieve every day simple wins.”
Since the announcement of their
partnership last year, Bayer and Nick have taken many steps to
inspire young people with diabetes to achieve their simple wins:
small, everyday victories for managing diabetes that can lead to
big differences over time.
In recognition of his efforts in
raising diabetes awareness over the past year, Bayer presented
Nick with another $100,000 donation to the Jonas Brothers’
Change for the Children Foundation to support its ongoing
commitment to pediatric diabetes.
In August 2008, announcing the start
of their partnership with Nick, Bayer presented the Jonas
Brothers with a $100,000 donation for their foundation. In the
interim, Nick and Bayer created special dog tags, like the one
Nick wears featuring a lyric from his song, “A Little Bit
Longer.” Proceeds from the sales of the dog tags benefit the
Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation. The dog tags
are available through www.NicksSimpleWins.com for a donation of
$5. Since the dog tag program launched in November 2008, it has
raised an additional $75,000 for the Jonas Brothers’ Change for
the Children Foundation.
As this year marks the 40-year
anniversary since Bayer introduced the first portable blood
glucose meter, the company hopes that its ongoing partnership
with Nick reinforces their commitment to diabetes management. To

programs with Bayer and to read his blog, please go to

The Jonas Brothers seem

Oh yes. Yes, there is. Those three guys may wear promise
rings, credit God for their success and field all manner of
praise from journalists for their politeness and admiration of
accomplished musicians. But they are not free of sin. Behold!
The top five biggest Jonas Brothers scandals!
Revealed...
1. Their ladies take the Lord's name. In vain. Both
Miley Cyrus—a known off-and-on associate of
Nick Jonas—and Danielle Deleasa,
fiancée to Kevin, have been quoted as saying "Oh my god." Has
anyone in the Jonas family taken any sort of action? No. No,
they have not.
2. Someone out there does not think the Jonas Brothers are
amazing. Trace Cyrus, Miley's brother, was
recently quoted as saying the Jonas Brothers are "fake." What
manner of insult did the brothers commit to offend this
tattoo-covered man with multiple piercings and no discernible
career? The entire Jonas camp is closing ranks. Clearly they're
hiding something.
3. The Jonas Brothers used to charge about $40 per concert
ticket. Now they charge closer to $80, and all we're getting are
front-row seats, killer special effects, real singers playing
real instruments and a band that has sold roughly 8 million
records. Know who else charges that kind of money?
Springsteen. Charges roughly $90 per ticket. Just what
are these punks trying to say?
4. Nick got snippy once when a reporter asked about that
ticket price.
5. They are completely lying about their age. "What people
don't really understand," Joe Jonas told a
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reporter, "is that we
secretly are over the age of 40, and so we've already lived
through our shelf lifetime, so we're pretty much just going back
and trying to reinvent ourselves."
J'accuse, Jonases. J'accuse.

soon... - C 4rm JBFZ
The
Jonas Brothers
are gracing the cover of Rolling Stone for the second time in a
year — but the most recent issue, out Friday, is a special
collector's edition.
The limited-edition issue,
which features tons of photos as well as archives of interviews
with the guys, a trivia quiz and posters, is a must-have for any
Jonas Brothers fan. It also includes a recent interview in which
the guys discuss their big summer tour, which kicked off on June
20 in Dallas.
"I had this dream as a kid where I'm standing onstage with just
a white spotlight," Nick recalled in the issue about getting to
live his dream. "Now that moment happens every night in our
show."
Fans will also get an intimate look at what the guys do while on
the road, like playing wiffle ball with each other and watching
movies like "The Hangover." "Usually we like to tour, tour,
tour; but sometimes you're just exhausted, so we try to go home
to relax," Joe shared.
The guys, who recently got to host the Teen Choice Awards, also
wax poetic to the magazine about what musicianship means to
them. "Music theory bores me," Kevin said. "It's all about feel
for me."
But for Joe, the true rush comes from hitting the stage every
night and hearing the fans shout his name. "When fans are
screaming all around you, you're like, 'Whoa, awesome.' "

Jonas Brothers Presided Over Scream-A-Thon @ New Orleans
AUG
16TH
The Jonas Brothers' ascent has been remarkably swift and
steep, even by the formidable standards of Disney's starmaking
machine. On Nov. 30, 2007, the brothers -- Kevin, Joe and Nick
Jonas -- performed two sold-out shows at the New Orleans House
of Blues. Total ticket sales? Around 2,000.
On
Saturday, tween-pop's reigning princes returned for another sold
out show, this time at the 16,000-capacity New Orleans Arena.
Mothers with very young daughters -- kindergarten-age was not
uncommon -- occupied many seats. The youngsters -- and some
mothers -- screamed like banshees.
Kevin, Joe and Nick are smart enough to realize that such
adulation, while lucrative in the short term, is finite. Little
girls grow up and move on. Eventually the brothers must appeal
to those not inclined to lose themselves in the dense thicket of
their ample eyebrows.
That transition is underway. The tag line on Rolling
Stone's recent Jonas Brothers cover reads "Boys to Men." The
clouds-on-the-horizon title of their current CD is "Lines, Vines
and Trying Times." Its surprises include the rapper Common
guest-starring on "Don't Charge Me for the Crime," a
wrong-place, wrong-time saga about a bank robbery.
For slightly more than 90 minutes Saturday, the brothers
Jonas relied mostly on the strength of their songs, many of
which they wrote or co-wrote. Making due without dancers, they
churned out credible, unfussy guitar pop backed by 10 auxiliary
musicians, including a four-piece horn section and a pair of
violinists.
The horns punched up the opening "Paranoid," from "Lines,
Vines and Trying Times." The show's early going drew heavily
from that album's highlights, including "Poison Ivy" and "Fly
With Me."
They are also growing into older material. The sweeping
ballad "When You Look Me in the Eyes" fares better now then two
years ago. "Lovebug" morphed from an unselfconsciously sweet,
mostly acoustic treat to an unapologetic rocker. "Gotta Find
You" held up fine with just acoustic guitars, violins and
harmonies.
A stripped-down, piano-driven "Turn Right" was also
sturdy. Fans sparked up the evening's personal illumination
device of choice -- $10 souvenir Jonas Brothers glow-sticks.
The sleek production did not overshadow the songs. The
in-the-round stage configuration featured a multi-tier, circular
center platform flanked by two satellite stages. The main
stage's outer ring spun slowly, affording all in attendance some
face time. At one point, the center circle became a trampoline
on which Joe and Nick frolicked.
A three-layered LED video screen, shaped like an inverted
wedding cake, hung above the stage. Fog and lasers abounded. In
the night's coolest effect, "rain" falling from a lighting rig
formed hearts and the Jonas Brothers logo.
Of the three, Nick, the youngest, was the MVP. His guitar,
piano and vocal contributions were equally adept; he even rocked
a flying-V guitar on "World War III." While his brothers fired
off foam cannons from atop a crane during the rave-up "Live to
Party," he supplied the song's double-time drums.
The night's emotional centerpiece, such as it was, found
Nick alone at a white piano for "Black Keys." To his own
accompaniment, he embarked on a lengthy monologue about a
life-altering moment: The day in November 2005 he was diagnosed
with diabetes.
He recounted asking the doctor "if I was going to die."
Alarmed little girls throughout the arena screamed "No!,"
traumatized at the prospect of Jonas mortality.
"With tears in her eyes," Nick continued, "the doctor
said, 'No, you're going to be all right.'" He then "made a
commitment that I would never let it slow me down." To that end,
he and his brothers have in recent months met President Barack
Obama, scored another No. 1 album and landed on the
aforementioned cover of Rolling Stone.
And three months into the current tour, his health is
"better than it's ever been. You are my inspiration."In a more
light-hearted moment, parents were afforded an opportunity "to
embarrass your kids" by singing along to Neil Diamond's "Sweet
Caroline." Joe marked his 20th birthday with a mass "Happy
Birthday" singalong.
If anything, the JBs are perhaps too comfortable in their roles.
Between songs, they offered little more than cliches. The
footage of their fabulous rock star lives that flashed on screen
during "That's the Way We Roll" was self-reverential. Inviting
fans to hold up their homemade banners all at once felt just a
little patronizing.
Whether the same girls will still flaunt Jonas Brothers
banners five or 10 years from now is unknown. Tween-pop stardom
can be a tough stigma to shed, whatever the music's merits. Ask
Hanson.
But I'm not inclined to bet against the Jonas Brothers.
After a final "Burnin' Up," they escaped via a barricaded
passageway along the floor. Outside the arena, the unknowns of
AllStar performed an acoustic set on the sidewalk. AllStar hails
from San Diego, features a young, handsome/pretty lead singer,
and is newly signed to Hollywood Records, the Disney-owned label
for which the Jonas Brothers record. In a classic, if scaled
down, scene of tween-pop critical mass, young girls gathered,
screamed, and pressed in close for AllStar autographs.
The Jonas Brothers had already moved on.

And if the Jonas Bros. don't like what he says? Tough. Cyrus,
20, says he could take them all in a fight, though he'd back off
on his sister's ex-boyfriend Nick.
"I don't think any of them would be much trouble," says Cyrus.
"I'd never lay a hand on Nick – I love that kid – but the other
two better not get in my way."

(JoBros + Demi + Selena + Miley) Are the World
AUG
15TH
No need to pinch yourselves, tweeners. You're not dreaming.
Disney has gathered its brightest stars,
Miley Cyrus,
Demi Lovato,
Selena Gomez and the
Jonas Brothers for a
"We Are the World"-like music video for Friends for Change:
Project Green. "Send It On" is meant to unite the kiddies in
green living and protecting planet Earth.
That's probably why they ditch the big stage and
energy-sucking bright lights for the great outdoors. At first,
we were really distracted by the oh-so-convenient intimate
pairing of Miley and Nick Jonas.
And then we were bugged by Joe
Jonas wearing yet another pink shirt and impressed with
Selena out-adorabling the lot of them. But we guess there was
some sort of charitable point.
Somehow, though, the whole thing seems far less poignant
than Michael Jackson
and Lionel Richie and
tons of other major stars teaming up for humanitarian aid in
Africa. Maybe that's because it had nothing to do with powerful
mice.

Miley Cyrus Offers Jonas Brothers Teen Choice Awards Hosting
Advice
Miley Cyrus, last year's Teen Choice Awards host, is a little
jealous of the Jonas Brothers. She isn't bummed that she won't
be able to host the show alongside her on-again, off-again
boyfriend Nick Jonas; she just thinks this year's hosts have a
big advantage over her hosting gig.
"I think it's unfair, 'cause when I hosted, I was all by
myself," she told MTV News on the red carpet for the awards
show, which was taped Sunday and airs Monday night (August 10).
"So I'm sure all three of them can, you know, work it out."
Cyrus is confident that Nick, Joe and Kevin will be able to
handle their hosting responsibilities, especially since they
aren't flying solo like she did in 2008. "I'm just saying, I
think it's unfair," she said sarcastically. "I needed three of
me. I needed help."
All joking aside, Cyrus did have some advice for the
brothers. "Have fun," she said. "And be prepared for the
prompter not to work."
While she didn't host this year, Cyrus did perform, spoofing
her Tennessee roots while singing her new single, "Party in the
U.S.A." "[My] performance tonight is funny, but I wanted it to
be about [something more]," Miley explained. " 'Party in the
U.S.A.' is an all-American song, and so I come out tonight and
I'm literally in a trailer park. It's a blinged-out trailer
park."
Lately, Zac Efron has been distancing
himself from the Magic Kingdom to tackle more serious roles. But
the Disney Channel alumnus still admires fellow Mouseketeers the
Jonas Brothers, who hosted this year's Teen Choice Awards
(airing Monday, August 10, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox).
"They're awesome, dude," Efron told MTV News at the Teen Choice
red carpet in Universal City, California, on Sunday. "I think
the Jonas Brothers are gonna be fantastic hosts. They're
charismatic and funny and great guys. I'm happy for them."
Efron, who rocked a plaid top, jeans and All-Stars, was also
happy by the relaxed looks and attitudes that everyone in
attendance seemed to have. Of course, as Efron pointed out, it
may have been too warm for people to really get too dressed up
for the event anyway.
"Well, it's always incredibly hot on the red carpet, which is
nice, 'cause people dress down," he said about the yearly
ceremony. "[You] get to see people's real style. It's not all
suits and ties."
Efron, who later lost Choice Hottie Male to Robert Pattinson,
wouldn't say who he thought was the hottest lady on the red
carpet. Though he's dating Choice Hottie Female nominee Vanessa
Hudgens (who lost to Megan Fox), he didn't play favorites. "I
haven't really talked to anybody yet," Efron said vaguely.

Live From the Teen Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus rode a wave at the Teen
Choice
Awards.
The teen
queen sailed away with six surfboard-shaped trophies at Sunday's
ceremony. Cyrus won for comedy TV actress and comedy TV show for
"Hannah Montana," music/dance movie actress and hissy fit for
the "Hannah Montana" movie, music single for "The Climb" and
summer song for "Before the Storm." She also presented Britney
Spears with the ultimate choice award.
"I'm a huge
fans of hers," Cyrus said before a subdued Spears accepted her
own surfboard.
Cyrus was among several multiple
award winners at the 11th annual ceremony at Universal Studios
Hollywood's Gibson Amphitheatre.
Show hosts
the Jonas Brothers kicked off the ceremony by performing "Much
Better" on a tiny stage that moved through the audience. They
won five awards, including choice male red carpet icons and
breakout TV show for "Jonas."
The
biggest winner of the night was vampire drama "Twilight,"
which sucked up nine movie awards: choice drama, romance,
liplock, rumble, drama actress for Kristen Stewart, drama actor
for Robert Pattinson, villain for Cam Gigandet, fresh face
female for Ashley Greene and fresh face male for Taylor Lautner,
who will also appear in the upcoming sequel, "New Moon."
"We'll see
you guys in theaters Nov. 20," Lautner teased the squealing
crowd.
Other big
winners included "Gossip Girl" and Zac Efron. Chace Crawford,
Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick picked up drama actor, actress,
villain and TV series awards for the sudsy CW series while Efron
won for music/dance movie actor in "High School Musical
3" and comedy movie actor and rockstar moment in "17

Jonas Brothers Apologize For Ruining Weddings
AUG
9TH
As the
Jonas Brothers still work out who will be Kevin's
best man at his wedding to Danielle
Deleasa they want to apologize to all the wedding parties at all
the hotels they've stayed at that have been ruined thanks to the
overzealous fans who bombard them.
"We've had a couple instances where there's been weddings going
on during the time we were at the hotel," Kevin said on "The
Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" on Thursday night. "We've had
brides like, 'You've ruined my wedding.' "
"There's 100 to 1200 fans who show up, and the bride, her
wedding's just ruined," Nick added. "Just screaming fans the
whole time. ... And we've actually sent apology gifts to the
bride and the groom."
While the JoBros may be unintentionally ruining some couples'
big day, there are fans who make a point of ruin the guys' days
for no reason at all. O'Brien asked if it's ever awkward when
fans come up one of them to say he's not their favorite Jonas
Brother. The answer is quite obviously, yes.
"I've had that experience happen to me before," Kevin said. Joe,
patting his brother on the back and mumbling that he loves him,
recalled one particular fan who expressed her preference with a
sign. "There was a [fan] sign that said, 'Nick, you're hot. Joe,
you're cute. Kevin, you're OK.' "
Kevin, being the good-natured older brother that he is, added
that he would have really have liked to tell the fan, "And I
just want thank you for this. That just brightened my day to
another level. I took a picture; it encouraged me to get up the
next morning."
The boys also talked about the people who show up to their
concerts just to make it known that they don't like their music.
"There are some people who come to the concert to show they
don't like you," Joe said. "They'll come, and they'll just sit
there."
Despite whatever strange behavior some fans may exhibit when
around JoBros, Nick is quick to point out that for the most
part, their fans are pretty awesome. "It's fun, and what's more
amazing than that is just the fact that the fans are showing up
and singing the new songs and being apart of it all," he said.
"It's such an amazing thing."
